About Us

We are two highly-trained, experienced physical therapists who believe that good PT helps you live better.

We started Good Land Physical Therapy & Wellness because we believe in providing the best possible care for our clients. This involves taking the time to get to know you and your goals and figure out the why behind your condition. We believe in fixing the underlying problem instead of just treating the symptoms. We know that staying active is important for both physical and mental health. Too often, pain or other limitations get in the way. We want to change that.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We believe in transparency and consistency. We charge $150 for a 60-minute session or $80 for a 30-minute treatment session. Short on time? We can come to you! We can offer treatment in the comfort of your own home or office.

You are welcome to use your health savings account (HSA) or flexible spending account (FSA) to pay for your visit. Upon request, we can also provide you with a super bill you can submit to your insurance to be applied toward out-of-network benefits.

  • Good Land Physical Therapy & Wellness is an out-of-network provider. This allows us to provide consistent, one-on-one treatment that avoids arbitrary insurance limitations to give you the care you need to feel your best.

We often get asked why we choose to be out-of-network. Many insurance reimbursement rates and other limitations lead to many clinics and hospitals to shortening, overlapping, or double-booking appointments, significantly affecting quality of care patients receive. Often insurance companies also place unnecessary limits on the number of PT sessions you are able to attend in a year based on your insurance plan—not based on the care you need. We believe that you deserve better than that.

Interestingly, with the rise of high-deductible health plans and health costs, many of our patients find that it is more cost-effective to pay an out-of-network provider due to lower costs per visit and fewer visits needed for improved symptoms compared to other clinics.

If your symptoms are due to a worker’s compensation injury or motor vehicle accident, reach out to chat with us! You can typically receive PT at the clinic of your choice.

  • Nope! In the great state of Wisconsin you do not need a referral to see a physical therapist and you always get to choose the provider you see. This is fantastic news, as it allows us to start treatment more quickly and get you on the road to feeling better without playing phone tag or waiting for an appointment with another provider.

We perform a thorough examination and are trained to identify conditions that may need additional testing or imaging. We will communicate with your physician or refer to a specialist if your condition requires it.

If you plan on submitting a super bill to your insurance toward out-of-network benefits, you may want to reach out to your insurance company to determine if your plan requires a referral for reimbursement. We can also work with worker’s compensation companies if you were injured on the job.

  • Good Land Physical Therapy & Wellness is not a Medicare-enrolled provider. We are able to provide wellness, fitness, dry needling, return-to-sport care and other non-Medicare covered services. If you have additional questions, please reach out and we are happy to chat more.

  • Our goal is to provide you with the care you need. We believe that you know your body and we work together with you to determine your plan of care. We look at the whole body—not just the injury you came in with—and try to figure out how to keep you doing what you love long-term.

  • Great question! Head over to our scheduling page to make an appointment or set up a time for a complimentary 20-minute phone consultation to determine if we are the right fit to help you out.
