I have one of the best jobs in the world. As a physical therapist, I spend a lot of time getting to know my patients during their rehabilitation journeys. I see a good physical therapist as a detective - relentlessly working to figure out the “why” behind the problem. Good physical therapy involves curiosity, collaboration, and creativity, with you and I working together as a team. I listen to you tell your story and perform a thorough, comprehensive evaluation to determine the underlying cause of the symptoms.

I often see people that have seen countless other health care providers, including other PTs, yet are still struggling to figure out what is going on and find relief. My goal is to try to help you find a better path forward by understanding what is going on and what we can do together to improve your symptoms.

When it comes to treatment, it looks different for every patient based on their needs. I incorporate a wide range of options including manual therapy, trigger point dry needling, soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization and manipulation, Graston Technique, therapeutic exercise, and more.

I split my week between treating patients and teaching the next generation of physical therapists at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. In the evenings and on weekends, I am with my fabulous husband and two amazing kids. I also try to sneak in time to run (preferably long distances and on trails!), do yoga, ride my bike, strength train, and read.
